Leylands Farm Campsite
A successful rally with 22 units attending.
After settling in we all got together to meet up,
a chance to chat and catch up with old friends.

.
Fun & Games
Most evenings there were organised games to get involved with,
lots of new ideas which were fun and very enjoyable.
.
.
Lymington
The historic town of Lymington offers plenty for the visitor to the New Forest.
This colourful coastal town is an ancient seaport with a rich maritime history.
Lymington Marinas
Situated on the west bank of the Lymington River,
on the edge of the Solent, Lymington is a major yachting centre with three marinas.
Coastal Path
A 7-mile ramble around the marshes was organised for Sunday, which included coastal paths
back to our site with lovely views. It turned out to be 10 miles in total but worth it!
.
.
Ferry to Isle of Wight
A group ferry trip to the Isle of Wight (Yarmouth) took place on the Monday.
This meant an early start but with the good weather it allowed people
to go off and explore at their leisure. Most people went off to see The Needles.
,
,
Why’s it called The Needle?
The name the Needles comes from the fourth rock,
which was needle-shaped and known as ‘Lot’s Wife’,
and the original Needle Rock 120 feet high fell into the sea in 1764.
Walhampton Arms, Lymington
To end this rally a meal together at the Walhampton Arms pub was booked.
The pub is perfectly located at the top of a hill; it was a really nice way to end this break away.
