We are at the Moffat in Scotland for a long weekend
between 23rd and 27th May 2004.
o
Our first day – Thursday a total of 17 units arrived at Greenfrog caravan site with heavy rain
and very strong winds but later evening we all settled down,
then the nice warm weather came for us over the long weekend.
o
Robert & Nicole
They were the lovely owners of the campsite and
Robert can do sign language, which helped to make it easy and feel more welcome.
o
o
Good Morning!
Everyday we went to the campsite’s own café
for a beautiful Scottish big breakfast which was fantastic and enjoyable.
o
o
Star Hotel – one of the interesting local pub in Moffat
Every nights we all visited a small lovely town and
visited different various local pubs for our social night, as all were nice companies.
o
The Famous Star Hotel in Moffat
which dates from the late 1700’s,
found its fame for being the world’s narrowest hotel
as mentioned in the Guinness Book of Records;
At only 20ft wide and 162ft long The Famous Star Hotel may be narrow.

with a big thanks to Debbie Hailwell for organising this,

beautiful countryside along the stream water river.

To follow that night, we had a brilliant game night created by Debbie
which the owner campsite, Robert and Nicole Brother joined with us all for fun.
It was a fantastic night,  and thanks to Debbie for her organising.
We all want to say, a very big thank you to owners Robert and Nicole
for letting us use their Café after close time to hold meetings and games night.
Sadly at the end of a long weekend that we had many good happy memories.
