CDC at Proctor Park Campsite
A total of 10 units came to Proctors Park for the long weekend and all arrived safely on Thursday.
We were socialised at the nearest pub at the Soar Bridges Inn which is about 5 minutes walk from the campsite.

At the market on Friday morning
Enjoyable riding a bus to Loughborough, which is a
market town in the heart of the East Midlands.

Barrow Kipper
Located in landlocked Leicestershire, Barrow-upon-Soar became famous in 1851
when a fossilised marine reptile was found here – it lived in the shallow seas
that covered the area millions of years ago, and
today it’s the peaceful waters of the River Soar that attract visitors.
Imagine we stood this ground was like 180 million years ago – it was under a sea!!

Quorn Village
On Saturday morning we walked to the village of Quorn,
is built around the old A6 road, which runs through the centre of the village.

To stop at Quorn’s cafe, having some snacks and drinking,
then moved to next village of Woodhouse.

Quorn Village
Arrived at the Great Central Railway Quorn & Woodhouse for lunches
with some displayed of old classic vehicles on the parking site.
The village has a railway station called Quorn and Woodhouse, shared with the neighbouring
hamlet of Woodhouse, which was on the national Great Central Railway network
and is now on the preserved Great Central Steam Railway.

Walk : Eat : Drink : Relax
Walked again to complete 4 miles on Sunday then
back to the site and followed the evening to have some pub dinners.

Last Day!
We all were enjoyed ourselves very much,
all the weekend we did a lot of walking and relaxed.
also some fun games were provided at the site.
