Friday 7th till Monday 10th July 2024

First night of the weekend
All were inside a beer tent at a fair Friday evening ,
very warm and brilliant to see steam engines smoking up at sunset.
Rally field filled up with all sorts of camping transport, some unusual.
Some had fish and chips from a portable  on site.

Saturday – Steam fair
Saturday morning all went to the steam fair, spotted a model steam railway at the start
of the camping rally field, tiny coals in a little steam train carrying passengers round the woodlands.

Lots to see, all sorts of steam engines, vintage tractors, classic cars/transport with
parades around the arena including dog show, motorcyclists, military and owl demonstration.

Perfect weather , but downpours after fair closed at 5pm ,
all of us worn out stayed in some went beer tent.

Sunday
Another day spent at the steam fair so much to see
with hundreds of stalls including models, and a lots of variety of food stalls.

Sunday evening
12 of us went to Ring O’bells pub 10 mins walk from
the site in beautiful Daresbury village for delicious massive
Sunday dinner and signing away till late typical deaf outlast!!!

Thank you all for coming!
They were enjoyed themselves and it were nice to
see their socialising over the weekend at Daresbury.
