Rally Report from Deaf Camping & caravanning Club uk (DCCCuk) – September/October 2022
Elm Cottage Touring Park
The rally was held at Elm Cottage Touring Park at Winsford, Cheshire
on the weekend of Friday 30th Sept to 2nd Oct 2022 with 19 units together.
Friday 30th September
Our rally was suppose to be on the rally field and because of bad weather,
it rained all day so we were moved to a hard standing pitch at no extra charge,
then finally by late evening the rain stopped.

Yummy, Yummy
The Campsite provided homemade pizza on a wood fire stove
and we were able to eat our pizza in their Barn, the pizza was excellent.
After that a 10 minutes walk to the overcrowded Pub for socialising.
Saturday 1st October
On a nice warm sunny day, Pauline guided us to visit some interesting places such as Tarporley Garden Centre,
Cheshire Reclaimed Centre and Blakemere Village which was similar to Hatton World,
an enjoyable day our thank you Pauline.
Jordell Bank
Some members went to Jodrell Bank.
On the BSL Zone, our DCCCuk members Derek and Sylvia
going on a journey through time and space on the programme.

On the evening, we all socialise at the Barn, brought our own drinks and snacks,
also have some fun games organised by themselves.

Sunday 2nd October
The DCCCuk AGM started at 10:30am at the barn and fend at 12-15pm.
A new selected chairperson was Pauline Chesworth, and some issues were brought up
where the DCCCuk managements will look into it.
